SERVICES AT KNOTS
physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the restoration and maintenance of your health, function, and well-being through physical rehabilitation. Physiotherapists are highly qualified health care professionals who work with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of health care conditions. Through a patient-centered approach and evidence-based practice, physiotherapists work with their patients to help them achieve their rehabilitative goals. This means that your physiotherapist will help you lay out a measurable and achievable plan that will help you return to work, play, and activities of everyday life!

What problems do physiotherapists treat? They can help with: acute & chronic injuries, carpal tunnel, concussion, elbow pain, headaches, migraines, long & short-term disability injuries, loss of mobility, neck & back pain, nerve compression injuries, neurological disorders, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, plantar fasciitis, post-fracture rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, sciatica, shoulder pain & rotator cuff injuries, sports injuries, sprains & strains, TMJ disorders, tendonitis, whiplash, and work-related injuries

You do not require a referral from your family doctor or another health care provider to be seen by a physiotherapist. We provide direct billing to health insurance companies for physiotherapy. If you are planning to use your health insurance to help cover the cost of physiotherapy, please remember to visit your insurance company's website to ensure that you have physiotherapy coverage. Please bring this information with you to your initial assessment. If physiotherapy is not covered by your insurance company you will not be able to use your benefits and will need to pay the full cost of treatment.
